What is Feasy?

Feasy is a personal finance organiser for parents. It keeps track of all your children's extracurricular activities — ballet, football, swimming, music lessons, you name it — and automatically generates payment schedules so you always know what's due, what's been paid, and what's overdue.

Home (Dashboard)

Snapshot of upcoming & overdue payments, monthly spend, and quick-access shortcuts.

Activities

All your children's clubs and lessons in one list. Add, edit, pause, or remove activities.

👧

Children

Manage your children's profiles. Each child can be assigned to multiple activities.

💳

Payments

View, filter, and update the status of every payment across all children and activities.

🚀

Getting Started

Follow these three steps and you'll be up and running in under two minutes.

1
Add your children

Tap the Children tab → tap "+" in the top right → enter your child's name and pick an avatar colour → tap Save. Repeat for each child.

2
Add an activity

Tap the Activities tab → tap "+" → fill in the activity name, school/venue, fee amount, and choose a recurrence pattern → tap Save.

3
Let Feasy do the rest

Payment records for the next year are created automatically. You'll start receiving reminders before each due date, and can track everything from the Payments tab.

💡

Pro tip: You must add at least one child before you can create an activity. The app will prompt you if you try to add an activity with no children saved.

Free: Add as many children and activities as you like — there is no limit and no trial. The optional one-time Feasy Unlock adds the payment report.

👧

Managing Children

Adding a child

1
Go to the Children tab

Tap the Children icon in the bottom navigation bar.

2
Tap the + button

This opens the Add Child screen.

3
Enter the child's name

The app will automatically generate initials to display on the avatar (e.g. "Emily Clarke" → EC).

4
Choose an avatar colour

Pick from 8 colour swatches to help visually distinguish children at a glance.

5
Tap Save

The child appears in your list and is now available to assign to activities.

Editing or deleting a child

1
Tap the child's name or avatar

This opens the edit screen where you can update their name or avatar colour.

2
To delete, tap the Delete button

You'll be asked to confirm. Deleting a child removes all their activities and payment records permanently.

⚠️

Be careful: Deleting a child is permanent. All of their activities and payment history will be removed from your device.

Activities

Adding an activity

1
Go to the Activities tab

Tap the Activities icon in the navigation bar.

2
Tap the + button

Opens the Add Activity form.

3
Fill in the details
  • Activity name — e.g. Ballet, Swimming
  • School / Venue — optional location name
  • Child — select from your saved children
  • Fee amount — the cost per payment
  • Start date — when the first payment is due
  • Recurrence — how often payments repeat
4
Tap Save

Feasy generates payment records for the next year automatically. Save is available both in the top bar and at the bottom of the form, so it's always reachable on longer forms.

Editing or deleting an activity

1
Tap the activity name

Opens the activity detail and edit screen.

2
Make your changes and tap Save

Changes to the fee amount or recurrence will update all future unpaid payment records.

3
To delete, tap Delete Activity

This removes the activity and all its payment records. Paid records are also removed.

Activities grouped by child

When you have two or more children, the Activities list automatically groups each child's activities under a collapsible header.

Count badge

Each child's header shows the total number of activities in a coloured pill.

Tap to expand or collapse

Tap anywhere on the child's header row to show or hide that child's activities. All groups start collapsed so the list stays tidy.

💡

If you only have one child, the list shows all activities flat with no grouping.

💡

Tip: If an activity is on a break (e.g. school holidays), use the Skip status on individual payments rather than deleting the activity. This preserves your history.

💳

Payments

Payment statuses

Every payment record has one of four statuses:

Pending Paid Overdue Skipped
P
Pending

The payment is scheduled and coming up. The default state for all auto-generated records.

Paid

You've confirmed the payment was made. Tap any pending payment and select Mark Paid.

!
Overdue

The due date has passed and it's still unpaid. Feasy sets this automatically and sends you an alert.

Skipped

No payment was needed for this date (e.g. holiday). Skipped payments don't count as overdue.

Marking a payment

1
Go to the Payments tab

See a full list of all payments across all children and activities.

2
Tap a payment record

Opens the payment detail screen.

3
Select the new status

Choose Paid, Skipped, or revert to Pending as needed.

Editing a payment's amount or date

Individual payments don't always match the standard fee — a one-off price change, or a term that starts on a different date. You can adjust any single payment without changing the whole activity.

1
Open the activity

Tap the activity (or tap a payment card to jump to it) to see its full payment schedule.

2
Tap edit on the payment

A popup lets you change both the amount and the due date for just that payment, then tap Save. Reminders for it are rescheduled automatically if the date moves.

💡

Filtering: Use the filter controls at the top of the Payments tab to view by status, child, or activity — helpful when you have many records.

💡

Navigate to the activity: Tap any payment card in the Payments list to jump straight to that activity's detail screen — great for quickly checking or editing the activity without switching tabs.

📊

Dashboard

Your financial snapshot

The Home tab shows a live summary so you always know where you stand at a glance. It loads automatically every time you open the app or switch to the Home tab — no manual refresh needed.

Summary stats

Three tiles at the top of the screen show:

2
Children
5
Activities
£85
Paid this month

Overdue & Coming Up sections

Below the stats, two collapsible sections show payments that need your attention:

!
Overdue

Payments whose due date has passed and that are still unpaid. A red count badge shows how many there are. Tap the header to expand the list.

Coming Up

The next scheduled payment for each active activity, ordered by due date. One entry per activity — so you can see at a glance what's coming across all your children. Tap the header to expand.

💡

Tap any payment card in either list to jump straight to the activity detail screen — no need to switch to the Activities tab and search.

Quick Actions

Shortcuts at the bottom of the home screen take you straight to Manage Activities or View Payments with a single tap. Use the Export button in the top toolbar to generate a payment report.

💡

The dashboard updates automatically every time you return to the Home tab. It's the fastest way to check your financial position without opening each activity.

📤

Export

The Export button (top-right of the Home screen) generates a colour-coded spreadsheet of all your payment records within a date range. The file opens in Numbers on Mac, Excel, or any XLSX-compatible app.

Reports are part of Feasy Unlock. Your payment records stay visible and editable in the app whether or not you unlock — the purchase adds the shareable spreadsheet.

Generating a report

1
Tap Export on the Home screen

This opens the Export screen without adding a new tab to the navigation bar.

2
Choose your date range

Pick a From date and a To date using the date pickers. The From date cannot be in the future; the To date cannot be before the From date — the app adjusts both automatically to keep the range valid.

3
Tap Generate

Feasy builds the spreadsheet and opens your device's share sheet so you can save it, email it, or open it in another app.

Colour coding

Each row in the exported file is highlighted to make it easy to scan at a glance:

Green — Paid
Red — Overdue (due date passed, still unpaid)
Amber — Pending (upcoming, not yet due)
Grey — Skipped
💡

Great for record-keeping: Export a full year at the end of each term to keep a local archive of what was paid, what was missed, and what was skipped.

🔔

Notifications

Types of notification

Payment Due Reminder

Sent a set number of days before a payment's due date. Configurable per activity (e.g. 1 day, 3 days, 7 days before).

🚨
Overdue Alert

Sent automatically on the day a payment becomes overdue (the day after the due date if still unpaid).

⚠️

Permissions required: Feasy needs notification permission to send reminders. If you denied it during setup, go to your device Settings → Feasy → Notifications and enable them.

🔁

Recurrence Types

When you create an activity, choose how often fees repeat:

Weekly

Every 7 days from the start date. Great for weekly classes.

Fortnightly

Every 14 days. Ideal for activities that run every other week.

Monthly

Same date each month (e.g. the 1st). Good for club memberships.

Termly

Recurs each term. You set the term length in weeks (e.g. 12), and a payment is generated at the start of every term.

One-off

A single payment with no recurrence. Good for registration fees.

💡

Not sure which to pick? Choose the one that most closely matches the invoice your activity provider sends you. You can always edit the activity later.

💡

Tips & Tricks

Getting the most from Feasy

💡
Use Skip liberally — mark holiday-week payments as Skipped so they don't clutter your overdue list.
💡
Colour-code your children — pick distinct avatar colours so you can spot each child instantly in the lists.
Check the Dashboard first — the Overdue and Coming Up sections collapse so you can scan quickly. Tap a payment to jump straight to its activity.
Set a generous reminder lead time — 3 days before gives you time to transfer money before the due date.
Add one-off fees too — registration fees, kit purchases, and trips can be added as One-off activities.
Export at the end of each term — tap Export on the Home screen, set the term dates, and generate a colour-coded XLSX for your records.
No internet needed — Feasy works fully offline. Your data never leaves your device.
Local currency — amounts display using your device's region (£, $, € and more). You just type the number; Feasy adds the right symbol.
Need help? — tap the Help button in the top-right of the Home screen to open this guide at any time.
